The Surge 2, developed by Focus Home Interactive, is an action game that is available on PlayStation 4. The game starts with your plane crash-landing in the outskirts of Jericho City due to a mysterious storm. You wake up weeks later in a detention facility inside the city, where armored soldiers enforce Martial Law, and robots are on a rampage. The city is devastated, and a dark, expanding nanostorm is looming over the cityscape.

You must explore the sprawling city of Jericho to survive and fight numerous, ferocious threats in brutal, unforgiving combat. You can slash and tear off the limbs of your opponents to steal valuable equipment that will make you stronger. With an expanded arsenal of weapons, armors, abilities, implants, and drones, you can build your character and face the most fearsome and imposing foes lurking in the city. The game offers hardcore, brutal melee combat, where you can cut off parts of the enemy you want to loot. It also has rich character progression and customization, which adds to the overall experience of the game.
