Your goal is to have all nine survive the night. To do so, you will make decisions that will change the plot, character development, and the relationship between them. Your choices may even lead to all the characters dying.

As mentioned, the game does not have much action. Moreover, you can adjust the gameplay, so it would only involve one button at a time. You can even pick what you want your characters to do and watch the whole game as if it is a movie. The dialogue choices, too, are a bit inconsequential. You choose between rude and sympathetic responses, which do not have any in-game consequences.

However, despite its relative lack of gameplay, it does not mean that there is no variety here. As noted, there are 186 different endings. With this, no two people's experiences will be the same. You can also play it over and over without getting the same ending as your previous session.
