The Outbreak Challenge is a free iPhone app developed by Fitness Interactive Experience INC. It is a physical activity challenge designed to test and improve your weekly commitment to daily movement and exercise. The app offers two modes, RACE and CHALLENGE, where you can test your individual skills or a team's in a virtual race to the finish line. You can sync your steps and exercise from Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch, or any Healthkit-compatible app and use your real-world steps to move your team and your real-world exercise to battle zombies.

The Outbreak Challenge is divided into seasons with multiple unique adventures where you can play as humans or zombies in over 15 different virtual races and challenges. The app also offers regular expansions and updates. The project was completed with assistance from the Georgia Film Office, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Overall, The Outbreak Challenge is an exciting and engaging way to stay active and achieve your personal health goals.
