The Movement is a mission-centered social networking app developed by Brian Woosley. It aims to combat income inequality, the climate crisis, small business decline, and the negative effects of social media. This iPhone app allows users to find local businesses that have joined the Movement and save money by scanning a QR Code at the point of sale. Users, referred to as citizens, can also invite others to join and earn more cash while continuing to save at thousands of local business partners.

One unique aspect of The Movement is that when a geographical area achieves a critical mass of engagement, a new social media feature unlocks, providing a brand new way for citizens to engage with each other. The ultimate goal of The Movement is to provide $25 per day to the half of the world currently living off of $5 per day.
