The Maw is an action-packed adventure game that takes place in a 3D world where players must help Frank, the hero, and his best friend Maw, a voracious and indestructible alien, eat their way to freedom. Developed by Twisted Pixel Games, this game won the Audience Choice Award in the 2008 PAX-10 showcase of independent games and was a finalist in the 2009 Independent Games Festival for Technical Excellence.

The Maw is an insatiable alien blob that can grow to unlimited size by absorbing anything it eats. The game has eight levels with varying puzzles and traps to overcome, and players must use Maw's versatile leash to manipulate creatures and objects to progress through the levels. The game has a buddy-comedy storyline that is full of personality and humor, and the interactive soundtrack by award-winning composer Winifred Phillips adds to the overall experience. Additional levels are available as downloadable content, and players can unlock all the Steam Achievements.
