The Internet Archivist's Intrepid Extension is a browser add-on for Chrome that allows users to automatically save the webpages they visit on the Wayback Machine while browsing the World Wide Web. This extension, developed by topherPedersen, is available for free and falls under the category of Browsers, specifically in the Add-ons & Tools subcategory.

Unfortunately, it is important to note that this extension is no longer functional. The Internet Archive has made some adjustments to their site, which now prevent the extension from working properly. Although this extension may work for a while, eventually archive.org will identify your browser as a bot and block traffic from it. Despite this, the developer has decided to keep the extension available on the Chrome Web Store.

Previously, when the extension was functional, it worked by automatically submitting new hyperlinks to the Wayback Machine for archiving in a non-active browser tab on the left side of Google Chrome. Users were encouraged to leave this tab open for the best browsing experience. However, due to the changes made by archive.org, the extension is no longer able to perform its intended function.
