Escher and Isaac Newton, The Bridge features gravity manipulation, impossible architectures, and other mind-boggling worlds. Traversing through The Bridge will only get harder as the game progresses. The game highlights beautifully hand-drawn art in the style of black and white lithographs. But, nothing in this game is as two-dimensional as it appears.

This indie platformer game was developed by the aptly named The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild. The gameplay features 48 thought-provoking puzzles. As the game progresses, the puzzles become increasingly complex. You will have to come up with your own innovative solution to get out of its Escher-esque world. Do not be fooled by this masterfully drawn lithograph. Each world features impossible architectures with gravitational vortexes, parallel dimensions, and many more mind-bending concepts.

The main theme of The Bridge is that nothing appears as what they seem. Even if the laws of physics dictate this 2D game, your perception of the world will be your enemy. It is up to you to look around and see the puzzles for what they really are. You can take your time in solving these puzzles as the time-backtracking system will alleviate your fears and stop you from making a mistake. 

The Bridge has taken the novel idea of a rotating level into an in-depth look into the mind. More than a game that you play, it is a puzzle that plays tricks on you. You will be dutifully rewarded for your efforts. Once you have reached the exit doors, you will have a feeling of relief and satisfaction. Overall, The Bridge offers a deep dive into a fascinating but challenging headspace that you can spend a few hours on.
