Text to Speech (TTS) is a free Chrome extension developed by Sevina. It is a text to speech tool that offers natural sounding voices through the use of HTML5 TTS APIs. With just one click, users can easily convert text into speech.

One of the main features of Text to Speech (TTS) is its ability to automatically detect the language, eliminating the need for users to manually set the input language each time. Additionally, text-to-speech functionality can be enabled by holding the (Alt), (T), or (Insert) key.

While the text-to-speech feature is running, the extension highlights the selected text, making it easy for users to follow along. It utilizes the native HTML5 API, eliminating the need to install any additional plugins.

Please note that the highlight feature is still in Beta and may not work properly on all websites. Additionally, as the HTML5 TTS API is still a work in progress, there may be occasional crashes or errors. If the API is not active in your browser, you can enable it by accessing the "about:config" page and searching for the "webspeech" keyword.
