There are many different types of mods for skim, but Tetrachromatic is probably one of the most unique because it actually replaces the default lighting & weather on your skim characters. This is a very impressive mod and I highly recommend it if you want to change the look of your character completely. How cool is that? To get started, you just install the mod through the mod manager of your choosing. Once that's done, simply activate the file, click on the activate button, and then you are all set. Tetrachromatic should work fine in most instances, but some users have stated that they have had trouble with compatibility.

The problem was that while Tetrachromatic was installing, there were a few errors that showed up on my screen. Apparently the authors of the actual Tetrachromatic did not test their mod for compatibility, and as a result there are now a few problems that can be fixed by simply updating the game. These errors are not exactly serious, and I've seen several other mods that I didn't have to restart my computer over, but for those who are used to seeing an error message saying, Sorry, that particular mod cannot be installed, then this might be a problem.

After using this on a friend of mine, she said the effects were very nice, especially considering the fact that she had basically no experience with customizing the looks of her character. I personally felt that the colors and overall design were quite well done, and the lighting was a lot more realistic than the usual skim skimping out stuff. My only real problem with Tetrachromatic Enbloc, was that it made her character look like she was covered in spider webs, but that's not a big problem for me. All in all, I think this is one of the best mods for skyrim that I've seen, and it helped make my final decision about what to get for myself.
