Telesecundaria is a service that provides basic, public and school education for students in rural areas and marginalized areas with a single teacher who organizes the proposed activities in educational materials for practically all subjects.

The materials presented in Telesecundaria are organized and can be used as references in the classroom and for the preparation of the teacher and students. The materials contain guidelines, objectives, activities, learning objectives and evaluation indicators for all subjects.

The service has the following characteristics:

• It is a service of the Ministry of Education.
• It is based on the idea of the school as a community of students and teachers.
• It provides a single teacher to each grade in a school.
