Teams Chat Exporter is a Firefox extension designed to facilitate the export of Microsoft Teams conversations, including both 1:1 and group chats. Users can choose from various output formats such as JSON, CSV, HTML, TXT, or PDF, ensuring that all interactions, including replies, reactions, and system messages, are preserved for comprehensive documentation. The ability to export multiple chats simultaneously enhances its utility for users needing to manage substantial conversation records.

The extension operates directly within the Microsoft Teams web app, reading data from Teams' internal data layer to download transcripts securely to the user's device. Importantly, all operations are conducted locally, meaning no data is transmitted externally. Users can also customize their preferences, including export formats and date limits, making Teams Chat Exporter a flexible tool for effective chat management.
