Tavern Talk throws you into a fantasy-filled adventure where you take on the role of an innkeeper. Created by the German-based game studio Gentle Troll Entertainment, this visual novel lets you interact with Dungeons & Dragons-inspired characters, serve them drinks or potions, or even send them on rumor-informed quests.

Similar to Coffee Talk, the acclaimed urban fantasy VN set in a coffee shop, Tavern Talk lets you run a tavern called Wayfarer’s Inn, where characters in the fantasy land of Asteria gather for magical drinks. Your patrons are a colorful cast of characters inspired by D&D.

As the owner and innkeeper, you have to serve them with drinks or potions that can alter their lives. Over drinks, you can exchange dialogues, discover clues, and use overheard conversations to create quests. Although promoted as cozy, the game still features unsettling content involving death, grief, and violence.
