This is a companion app for Tapestry, an EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) learning journal. To better understand what this companion app does differently, let us delve into the main character first:

Tapestry is an online learning journal which establishes a log of a child's learning journey, development, and experiences via their early years - weaving the storybook through a combination of various means and materials: photos, videos, written observations, accounts from educators, parents, caretakers, and the children themselves when they are well-equipped. The 'storybook' is then stitched a final time, stored securely in the platform, and downloaded as requested.

In the midst of the journey, parents and caretakers are able to access the constant flow of material, enabled by communication between staff and family, so that they can view their progress.

And so this companion app enables the staff to securely upload progress logs and observations to the web service, so that the parents may view them without the dangerous, prying eyes that's always present in social media platforms. Uploaded observations or logs may include assessments, leuvan scales, photos.

For enhanced security, the app is automatically locked once you opt out of it; a pin will bring you back in.
