The Jewish Talmud is an ancient compilation of Jewish religious texts. It contains the text of the Torah, as well as other religious texts, such as the Mishnah, the Talmud, and the Haftarah. The Jewish Talmud consists of two parts: a first part, called the Protopary, which consists of the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, 1 Esdras, 2 Esdras, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon, and a second part, called the Mishnah.

The Protopary describes the history of the Jews from their creation until the time of the death of the first Jewish ruler, King David. The Mishnah is a collection of Jewish legal teachings, which are based on the laws, customs, and religion of the Jews. The Mishnah includes the oral law, as well as the written law, known as the Torah. The Mishnah also describes the customs of the Jews, their traditions, and their religious practices.
