There are a few things that make us so interested in Ancient Egyptian culture. One of the main reasons is that when we hear about life in Ancient Egypt, we imagine rich, powerful kings and queens, huge, beautiful buildings, endless piles of gold, and mysterious gods. All the adventure stories and dreams we've heard our whole lives boil down to these things. Romanticized stories like that catch our attention, but the fact that these things really happened in history makes them even more interesting.

We are also interested in Ancient Egypt, which we have talked about briefly in class, because people love to find out new things and learn about the unknown.
