It lets you experience the story as you want since you can play any side you want.

You get various character classes available to you in the game, each one having its own strengths and weaknesses to take into account during battle. Making them stronger will take a different approach, though. Instead of relying on leveling up, you will need to manage their job promotion and the various items that you'll receive to toughen them up.

One thing that needs more work, though, is the game's steep learning curve. It can be quite difficult to learn all the systems and mechanics that it has in place. A nod to classic tactical RPGs

All in all, there is potential in Tactical Edge: Innate Power once its glaring shortcomings are addressed. It looks great, plays well, and its approach to open-ended storytelling and unique leveling system is a nice surprise that provides a different experience. If you're a fan of games like Fire Emblem and the like, give this one a try.
