TabMemFree is a simple extension to help you lower RAM and CPU load by unloading idle tabs. 

It automatically unloads tabs that are not currently being used by any of your apps. It does this while keeping the tab's title and icon. This way, your users will not see a tab that is not loaded with any content.

Click the icon to the right of the browser tab to activate the extension.

You can adjust the maximum tab idle time and check frequency to prevent the extension from unloading too many tabs or too often.

For example, if you set the idle time to five minutes and the check frequency to every hour, the extension will unload tabs that haven't been used for five minutes or longer.

The extension doesn't collect or store personal data, like tab url, favicon, or website data.
