We are a non-profit, non-partisan organization that is committed to empowering Black people to take back their power and create their own independent, black-led spaces. We do this by providing them with the resources and knowledge that they need to do this.

The Black Lives Matter movement was sparked by the death of Michael Brown, an unarmed African American, who was shot and killed by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Since then, there have been numerous other cases of unarmed African Americans being shot and killed by police officers.

In addition to this, we also have a large number of black people that are being shot and killed by white people. This is happening in a nation that is supposed to be founded on the principles of equality and liberty. We also have a large number of black people in prison, where they are being oppressed and abused.
