Synapse DUNE VST is a popular audio synthesizer plugin by Synapse Audio Software. With this virtual instrument of an app, you can digitally and electronically manipulate your sound for the design you’ve always been aiming for. The original DUNE is a three-oscillator synth with superb built-in effects, arpeggiation, and sequencing. DUNE 2, on the other hand, introduced a full-on Wavetable Editor and various new features that made it a smash hit, despite not being compatible with DUNE 1. DUNE 3 has a dual filter with new models and FX, improvements on the sweeping effects, and a swarm stacking mode—fully compatible with DUNE 2, this time. All three have the ability to independently set Oscillators 1 and 2 to Virtual Analogue, Wavetable, or FM mode, and the incredible generation of up to 16 voices of polyphony in unison. This is definitely one of the best synths around, no matter the version.
