Swip Swap Ruil je speelgoed is a free lifestyle app developed by Stichting Swip Swap for iPhone. This app allows parents and children to easily trade their unused toys with toys from other children in the neighborhood. The app offers a simple four-step process: upload the toys you want to trade, search and like toys that you're interested in, propose a trade and suggest a time and place for the exchange, and wait for a response to finalize the trade.

With Swip Swap, families can enjoy endless and sustainable playtime. Instead of letting unused toys gather dust, parents can find new homes for them and give other children the opportunity to play with them. This not only reduces waste but also fosters connections between children in the neighborhood.

Swip Swap is not only for parents and children but also for grandparents, aunts, and uncles. It makes tidying up fun by encouraging the search for "new" used toys to exchange for unused ones. Additionally, it teaches children the benefits of sharing and trading for a more social and healthy world.

Please note that while the app works throughout the Netherlands, it requires a sufficient number of users in your immediate area. The developers are actively working on activating Swip Swap in all neighborhoods and villages in the country through challenges organized in primary schools. They are also creating Swip Swap Spots, designated locations for toy exchanges.

If you're interested in starting Swip Swapping in your neighborhood or if your school is interested in a free Swip Swap Challenge with a lesson plan, you can reach out to Stichting Swip Swap at They will contact you to discuss the possibilities.
