SURGE PROTECTORS is an adventure game that revolves around a shapeshifting robot world. The robotic characters you'll see here are adapted from your favorite Saturday morning cartoons such as Transformers, GoBots, and The Iron Giant. This game is a playset for the PARAGON system that came from the AGON role-playing game. PARAGON is a tabletop role-playing game system found in the AGON RPG that depicts the struggles of epic heroes against the gods in an ancient world.

Protect planet Earth from invaders

The game is set in the year 1984, on a planet that is under attack by a silent invader. These invaders could be emperions and mechanoids from the MetalWarp dimension that uses gravimetric beacons to perform incursions. They also emulate the world's technology which aids them to successfully hide among the planet's human population. Their major aim is to fulfill an ancient prophecy of destruction called The Surge.

With that conquest, they would drain Earth’s natural resources in order to begin the MetalWarp invasion. Thankfully, there are good MetalWarp defenders who pledged to safeguard the planet of Earth from the incursions executed by their own kin, and they refer to themselves as the SURGE PROTECTORS. You will take the lead of these protectors and pick your own vehicle form. You can also add some components that can help you on the journey.

If you are familiar with AGON and PARAGON system-supplemented game games like Chamber and Storm Furies, this role-playing adventure game is of the same kind. Although, you should expect that the format of islands here will be slightly different. It will contain a basic premise with a list of possible trials. It will be in short form kind which will most probably be put to good use when you start making your own islands/incursions.
