The Surakshita application is a powerful tool developed by Rajkot City Police to prioritize safety in our society. Designed specifically for ladies, this user-friendly application helps individuals avoid uncertain threats and trouble. With two major sections, Help and Track Ride, Surakshita provides essential features to ensure safety and security.

The Help feature is equipped with a prominent red button. In times of trouble, when pressed, this button sends a distress message to three pre-selected contacts from friends and family, along with the user's current location. Additionally, the application sends an immediate message to the police control room, enabling quick response. The application also tracks the user's current location for 30 minutes, providing crucial information for assistance.

The Track Ride feature is designed for individuals using auto-rickshaws or cabs. Users can sign in and enter the auto-rickshaw number, which is then verified against the existing backend data. If the number is verified, the user can proceed with their journey. However, if the number is not verified, the user can enter their start and end locations in the application. Surakshita then sends a message containing the start and end locations to two pre-selected guardians.
