In Islam, Baqarah is the second of the two holy Qur'an reciters, the first being the Qur'an itself. It is a Qur'an in the form of a book, and contains 286 chapters. It is a Madinah Quran. The Quran was revealed in the form of a book to the Prophet Muhammed (S) in the year 600 AD. It is a book that contains guidance and advice for humanity.
