In Super Blockbuster, players control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, bouncing a ball to break a set of blocks above. For instance, instead of just one ball, players can unlock powerups that release multiple balls, ramping up the excitement as they ricochet across the screen. The game offers a variety of levels, each uniquely designed to be progressively more challenging.  

The game also offers moving blocks, special obstacles, and varying shapes of block formations that make each level feel distinct. Additionally, some blocks are tougher to break, requiring multiple hits, which adds a layer of strategy to gameplay. The game has various powerups. These range from classic items like paddle extenders and speed boosts to unique powerups that add unexpected elements, like the “laser paddle,” which allows players to shoot blocks directly. 

There’s also a “gravity warp” powerup that lets players control the ball's direction for a short period, offering more control and allowing for precise strikes on hard-to-reach blocks. Some powerups can stack, creating thrilling moments of chaos on the screen. However, with multiple balls bouncing, powerups exploding, and background animations, it’s easy for the screen to become chaotic, making it difficult to track the ball.
