Sunshine Island is a free simulation game for mobile devices by developer Goodgame Studios. It is a city-builder that has players build and create their dream homes on a tropical island. In it, they will explore a vast archipelago, go on adventures, and meet other members of the community.

Similar to City Island or Paradise Island, Sunshine Island employs a tropical aquatic theme for its design and gameplay. Players will be able to go on island-hopping adventures and discover the mysteries of the sea. They can also meet and interact with others, and even join guilds and compete.

Island life

Sunshine Island is a city-building tycoon game wherein you will be creating your dream home on a tropical island. As with most of these types of games, you start from scratch and build your way up. That means constructing houses, planting crops, and raising animals to sustain your needs. Take charge of your workers and send them off to collect valuable resources spread throughout the whole island.

Once you have everything established is when things become more interesting on Sunshine Island. You can start going on expeditions to neighboring islands and look for undiscovered locations or treasures. Along the way, you'll get to meet fellow Islanders, the other inhabitants of the archipelago. Each one of them has interesting stories to tell and fun island activities to experience together.

What's more, there will be other players online that you can invite to your escapades. Join or create a guild, and compete with other groups to see who is better at managing their tropical empire. Unfortunately, the game suffers from constant freezes and crashes, which makes it hard to enjoy it or make any progress. This issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Build a tropical empire

If you like your city builders to be on the more casual and lighthearted side of things, then give Sunshine Island a try. It boasts chill gameplay, offers plenty of things to do, and the online multiplayer aspect lets you play together with friends and other players. This game is just relaxing to play but the crashing issue needs attention ASAP.
