Sundhedskortet is a free Android app developed by Digitaliseringsstyrelsen in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Health, Danish Regions, and KL - Local Government Denmark. The app is a digital supplement to your physical health insurance card and serves as valid documentation of the right to receive health services in Denmark.

With Sundhedskortet, you can use your mobile phone as your health insurance card and enjoy the following benefits: automatic display of your children's health insurance cards until they turn 15, automatic update of your information in the app, the ability to reset the app via borger.dk if you lose your mobile phone, and direct calling of your doctor by pressing the doctor's phone number in the app.

To create your health insurance card in the app, you must have a permanent place of residence in Denmark, have NemID / MitID, and be in health insurance group 1 or 2.
