孙美琪疑案:夏小梅中国版 is a free game available on the iPhone. The game revolves around the story of Xia Xiaomei, who works at a museum and is kidnapped by a female heart doctor on her way home. She is one of the victims of Wang Aiguo's factory. Xia Xiaomei's workplace is indicated by the nesting dolls left behind by Fang Tingting, which have the word "Palace" written on them. Liu Qingchun determines that Xia Xiaomei's workplace is a museum primarily focused on Ming and Qing dynasties' palaces.

Liu Qingchun, with special permission from the department leader, enters the museum after it closes to investigate. The Zuiyunguan, a study room that has never been open to the public since 1925, is located in the northwest corner of the palace complex. It appears to be an ordinary study room, but employees who have visited here at night have experienced delirium, leading the government to permanently seal it off.

Liu Qingchun has explored almost every palace in the complex, but upon reaching the Zuiyunguan, he feels compelled to stop and enter. As he looks up at the moon, hidden behind clouds, he enters the open doors of the Zuiyunguan.
