Suica Balance Reader - Japan S is a must-have app for travelers to Japan who use transportation smart cards. Developed by Renotam, this free Android app allows you to check your Suica, PASMO, ICOCA, and other popular transportation cards' balance and recent transactions using your smartphone.

Using the app is simple. Just place your card on the back of your phone that supports NFC functionality, with NFC enabled, and wait for a vibration. After a short delay, the app displays the balance and transaction details. If the reader function doesn't work, try changing the position slightly and turn off sleep mode.

The app supports various transportation cards, including Suica, PASMO, Ikoka, Toika, SUGOCA, Kitaka, Hayakken, and Nimoka, among others.
