Digital identity verification and credential management

Users can verify their identity by scanning a Sudanese e-passport with an NFC chip, which requires an NFC-enabled Android device, or by using their Sudanese National Number. During setup, the app matches the user's identity information with a live selfie to verify their identity before issuing digital credentials.

Once verification is complete, the digital credentials are stored in the app's secure identity wallet, allowing users to prove who they are without repeatedly presenting physical documents. When using compatible services, users can authorize participating organizations to verify selected identity information while retaining control over what data is shared.

Secure authentication and data protection

SUDAPASS supports passwordless sign-in using fingerprint or facial recognition, depending on device capabilities. It also incorporates encryption, biometric security, and anti-spoofing measures, and is designed to operate only on secure, unmodified Android devices.
