Subquake's Optimized Wall Torches A18 is a mod for 7 Days To Die. It improves the performance of wall mounted torches by having new and more efficient flame particle effects. 

By placing a few torches next to each other, you will see your frame rate dropping immediately. My frame rate decreased from 60 to 40 fps when placing merely 32x vanilla torches adjacent to one another. I can use 200 of the new, improved torches to reduce my frame rates to a similar level of around 40 fps, which is roughly 600% more performance than vanilla.
