Subnautica: Below Zero is an underwater adventure game, in which you will travel to an icy planet to find out what happened to the research station. In order to survive, you need to craft equipment, hunt for food, and scavenge for resources.

In the game, you can play as the commander of the Vesper space station, or the commander of the research station. The game begins on an icy planet, where you have to construct your base and research facilities. Your goal is to reach the next phase of the game, in which you will have to explore the planet and find out what happened to the research station.
