Put simply, Strikers1945: RE is a modern reimagining of the classic game for today's gamers. It retains the charming pixel graphics of the original while doubling down on some of its roguelike elements in gameplay. There are 50 scenario-stage battles to take on, daily missions, and even an offline patrol mode. All of that, while flying iconic planes like the F-117 Nighthawk, F-22 Raptor, and more.

There are various skills upgrades that will pop up during your missions, and you experiment and combine them to see which one works best. In fact, there are 230 possible combinations to discover and utilize. Now, being free to play, the game has ads that will appear throughout, and they can be too much at times. Also, the way upgrades show up can break the momentum and is rather intrusive.

Worthy of the original

All in all, Strikers1945: RE is a game worthy of the Strikers name with its fateful presentation and gameplay. It looks great and plays similarly to the original.
