Strategic Mind Spectre of Communism takes place on a grid made up of hexagonal spaces. Your task is to maneuver your units into battle. Core units will be used across multiple campaigns, while non-core units are campaign only. Each mission will have its own demands, so you must keep a close eye on where the enemy units are located.

A historical adventure

The game is rooted in history, featuring a number of real-life figures in its cast, such as Josef Stalin. However, it is not afraid to offer alternate-history stories. As the game progresses, do not be surprised if the narrative departs from history as we know it to offer a "what could have been" scenario.

Questionable voice acting

As a story-driven game, Strategic Mind Spectre of Communism makes heavy use of cutscenes. These are fully scripted and voiced, but the voice acting tends to be stiff and unconvincing. What makes this shortcoming worse is that the characters will continue speaking during the actual missions.
