Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific is a strategy game. It is a turn-based game that lets you relive and command key battles and campaigns in the Pacific theater of World War II. The game features a massive map covering regions from India to the west coast of North America, providing an expansive battlefield to strategize and fight on. 

In Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific, you can play as one of several major powers, including Japan, the USA, Australia, China, the UK, and the USSR, giving you the chance to experience different perspectives of the war.

Command history

In Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific, the main campaign, starting with the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, sets the stage for Japan's rapid expansion across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. You'll engage in battles both on land and at sea, using either 3-D unit graphics or traditional NATO counters to guide your forces. The game also includes five smaller campaigns that focus on specific battles and events.  

Examples of these are the clash at Khalkhin Gol, the Guadalcanal campaign, and the invasion of Iwo Jima. These scenarios provide a variety of gameplay experiences, each reflecting the strategic challenges of the time. It introduces new elements like Airfields and naval construction units called Seabees, adding depth to the strategic options available. Historical events like the Doolittle Raid are also included, enhancing the game's immersive experience. 

With features like a scorecard to track progress and a turn counter to manage time, players can stay organized and focused on their objectives.
