Here, witches can turn your enemies into chickens. You can also use Goblins’ bombs to chain devastating explosions or Ninjas to clean up afterward. The 25-character roster is filled with quirky and powerful abilities like Hercules tossing enemies across the battlefield or Prince Charming foes to join your side. The learning curve is gentle, although the game's depth can be found in mastering the countless combinations and team compositions. Every character choice matters, especially when trying to outsmart friends in the nine-character team format. 

Beyond the brawls, it introduces a compelling Story Mode and Level Editor. Players can recreate classic myths or invent their own—from saving a princess to guiding historical figures like Harriet Tubman through custom-crafted missions. The Story Maker turns the game into a storytelling tool, allowing players to blend strategy with narrative. However, it’s not officially out yet. In the meantime, players can try its demo version.
