A space-themed incremental game

Starvester is a premium strategy PC game by developer Syphono4. It’s an incremental idle clicker sim about building and growing a factory in space that will help facilitate the building of megastructures throughout the star system. Players will need to mine and harvest resources necessary to push the endeavor forward.

Much like Goblin Buster or Keep on Mining!, Starvester offers a gameplay experience that combines casual and accessible idle clicker mechanics with steady yet satisfying progression even when not in the game. Then, there’s the minimalistic pixel art and the presentation, which add a retro charm and round out the whole experience.

Mega factory in space

In Starvester, you’re tasked with building a factory in space that will be responsible for the creation of megastructures throughout the star system. To do so, you will first need to establish the facility itself, which involves harvesting resources from nearby sources and sending out drones to mine for ore and raw materials. Once you have enough, you can start investing in unlocking key upgrades, allowing it to handle more complex building tasks.

Being an idle clicker experience, you don’t need to be in-game with Starvester to reap the benefits of collecting resources. You can have your drones do all the heavy lifting and just drop in now and then to check things and see how much has been collected. It’s a casual approach to gameplay, but it works if you don’t have a lot of time to play.

Over time, you will be able to draw and harness the power of the stars and other celestial beings themselves to aid in your quest to build towering structures across the system. All that said, there’s limited information as to when the game will come out, but you can currently request playtest access to get early previews of the gameplay before it officially arrives.

Grand space builder

To sum up, Starvester is shaping up to be an intriguing game that fans of both space games and idle clickers will like. Start small and see how fast you can go from being a small space station to a massive mega builder, putting towering structures as you travel through the star system. Check it out and see for yourself.
