Play as a giant hand or two musical kids
Starstruck: Hands of Time is a premium music game developed by Createdelic, LLC, set in a diorama world where players can embody a giant hand and wreak havoc on the miniature town or switch characters and play as two kids who play guitar.
Offering a story-rich, adventure gameplay, Starstruck: Hands of Time delves into a nonlinear storyline with elements of time travel, music, gore, and comedy visualized in a cartoony art style. Since its release, this game has won several awards, including the Most Anticipated Game Award for IGN Japan—Indie Game Week.
Wreak havoc and be in rhythm
Starstruck: Hands of Time allows its players to play this game in two ways—one, as a giant hand—two, as two guitarist kids. Taking the role of a giant hand lets you explore the miniature town and cause chaos by demolishing houses using hammers, screwdrivers, and more. However, it's not limited to destroying the place. You can also solve puzzles and create new paths for the townsfolks.
On the other hand, you can play as two guitarist kids in the musical story segments of this game. With an amazing soundtrack highlighting live instruments and singing by Elsie Lovelock, this segment allows users to use a guitar controller or reconfigure button inputs. You can also play the music without playing the musical segment through the auto-play button on the options menu.
Customize the giant hand with various skins and sizes for better aesthetics that match or contrast the diorama world. Meanwhile, if you find the rhythm gameplay difficult, you can simply adjust the difficulty level between normal and master mode. The original soundtrack is made by Andrew Allanson, presenting live instruments and vocals extending to different genres. However, the marketed aesthetics do not live up to the actual gameplay.
