In STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions, your goal is to chart unknown star systems, investigate alien ecosystems, and overcome the many perils hidden among the stars. Every planet you visit features its own unique challenges, from razor-sharp crystal forests to swirling toxic atmospheres and bioluminescent creatures that react to your presence.

In STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions, your advanced toolkit lets you scan for resources, build temporary shelters, and even terraform small areas to make survival possible in the harshest environments. You’ll gather around the planning table, poring over holographic star maps to decide your next destination. Between missions, you can upgrade the station’s capabilities—adding new laboratories, expanding living quarters, and customizing communal spaces where the crew can relax and share stories.  

The seamless transition between the station’s cozy confines and the unforgiving alien worlds makes every return feel like coming home after a daring adventure. Conversations with other players are as vital as any tool in your belt, because only through teamwork can you repair damaged landers, carry massive mineral samples back to the shuttle, or fend off towering predators that emerge at nightfall. 

The true magic lies in its sense of shared discovery. No two expeditions play out the same way. One day, you might be racing against a lethal storm to secure a rare mineral, and the next, you’re repairing an aging drone lost beneath a glittering sea of alien spores. However, the entirety of the game can feel slow without a full crew online.
