Starpoint Gemini 2, developed by Little Green Men Games, is an action-packed open-world game set in the distant future. As a starship captain in the Gemini system, you will have the freedom to trade, mine resources, explore new planets, enter wars, rescue other ships in distress, hunt for space pirates, or even become a pirate yourself. The game offers both freeroam and campaign modes, with randomly generated missions in the former and scripted quests in the latter.

With over sixty ships to choose from and three classes to which your captain character can belong, the game offers a wide range of possibilities. Each class has special perks, and the ship can be upgraded with new weapons, defenses, and engines. As your influence and wealth grow, you can buy more ships and expand your fleet, with the others serving as wingmen. The plot revolves around a young space cadet seeking revenge for his dead father, but the game is more oriented towards free exploration than a binding storyline.
