This is the second installment of my series on Stardew Valley Mod Manager. This program enables you to automate a lot of work that would otherwise have to be done manually. It takes into account what mods you have installed on your computer and enables/disables the various mods based on user set-up. This means that not only are you going to have more time to play, but also that you won't need to spend all day searching for mod solutions. I use this program every day, and it has made life a lot easier for me!

The first part of the series was about enabling/ disabling mod processes. The way that this works is that there are three buttons that can be clicked - Click to select the mod, Click to disable the current process and Click to enable the mod. Once you have clicked one of these buttons, it will start a check if the mod is already enabled. If it isn't, it will try to enable it. It also compares the version number of the mod you have installed with the version number in the game folder. If there are any conflicts, it will warn you about them and then either enable or disable the selected mod accordingly.

The second part of the series looked at creating a list of the best mods for your computer, as well as editing your existing list of mods. There are actually two ways to create a list of the best mods, and the difference is merely based on how the list is saved. I won't go into detail here, since there is quite a bit to learn, but basically the program creates a list of the best mods based on a compatibility analysis. What this means is that if you have a computer that isn't compatible with some of the mods, the program will warn you about that ahead of time and let you select some of the best mods to replace those that aren't compatible. Again, there's a lot to learn, but the modding experience is well worth it when you see the changes it can make to your game!
