STARBOOKS, also known as the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS, is an innovative project developed by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in partnership with STII. It aims to provide Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) information to areas with limited access to proper library facilities and low internet connectivity.

This digital library is specifically designed to cater to primary and secondary schools across the Philippines. With approximately 3,455 sites nationwide as of March 2019, STARBOOKS is rapidly expanding its reach. It offers a wide range of educational resources and materials, covering various topics in the field of STI.

STARBOOKS serves as a valuable tool for students, teachers, and researchers, providing them with easy access to information and fostering a culture of learning. By bridging the gap between technology and education, this initiative aims to empower individuals and enhance the overall quality of education in the country.
