Players can choose from Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, and Adi Gallia, each with unique fighting styles. The combat is engaging but can feel repetitive due to stiff animations and hit detection issues.  

The game offers a simple hack-and-slash combat with platforming and exploration sections. One of the highlights of this game is the multiplayer co-op which introduces chaos to otherwise repetitive levels. The game also has a New Game+ for those seeking more intense fights, it also has cheats enabled for players to really curate the experience they want. However, platforming sections also introduce unnecessary frustration, as jumping mechanics lack precision. 

Visually, Jedi Power Battles captures the essence of The Phantom Menace with well-designed environments that recreate key moments from the movie. The soundtrack, featuring John Williams' legendary score, enhances the Star Wars feel, while enemy designs and special effects stay true to the franchise. While there are slight improvements to smoother visuals and better performance, the graphics appear dated, with blocky character models and rigid animations.
