Cluck in the dark

Squawky is a puzzle-filled adventure, where you step into the twisted hallways of Sunshine Farms with nothing but a flashlight in the form of a rubber chicken. This bizarre trope is the core of the experience as you avoid the scary Squawky, a mascot‑turned‑monster.

A strange mascot horror and puzzle exploration

In Squawky, you arrive at Sunshine Farms; its mascot has gone rogue, and the facility has plunged into darkness and chaos. Navigate corridors, solve light‑based puzzles, and attempt to restore power—all while tension builds as items flicker, shadows move, and that rubber chicken becomes your only defense.

Mechanically, Squawky stands out most for its quirky primary tool: the rubber chicken. You use it as a flashlight and weapon, but you can also enhance it with strange energies, unlocking new abilities or puzzle solutions. However, the game is still in its alpha phase; moreover, there’s little gameplay available.

A quirky descent into mascot madness

Squawky offers a unique twist on the mascot-horror genre. Its mix of eerie exploration, dark humor, and puzzle-solving creates a strange yet intriguing atmosphere. While the concept is refreshingly original, the game’s alpha state and limited available gameplay make it a promising experiment than a fully realized experience.
