The Sponsor Skipper Extension for Chrome is an extension that skips through the sponsored segments on Youtube in-video by comparing closed captions against defined trigger words.

For this to work, you must use Youtube's closed captions, and the tab must be in focus. Moreover, this app works by reading the video captions, and if the extension finds a trigger word near the word "sponsor," you'll automatically be redirected to a sponsored segment. Once you re-encounter the trigger word in a sponsored piece, keep skimming through the video.
