In terms of visuals, SpinMaze feels like a large pinball area. Most of the level is fenced by boxes, balls, or mine-looking objects, with bumpers and other interesting elements inside it. You control the ball by spinning the entire stage around, collecting gold coins along the way. Of course, as you move the stage, you also need to make sure that it doesn’t fall off the stage or hit traps.

Aside from the wide range of colorful elements—from gold coins to different colored mines—one interesting aspect of this app is its accurate controls and physics. The ball moves accordingly as you move the world around it, bouncing and rolling as one might expect. Similarly, the app has some responsive controls. Precise players can expect the spins to stop precisely when they lift their fingers off its intuitive touchscreen controls.

Unfortunately, this fun and simple game still requires an active internet connection in order to play. Even worse, it features frequent ads. While there are no ads that appear as you play a level, everything beyond it is frustrating. Accessing settings and getting in between levels are filled with ads, some of them unskippable.
