Spider Solitaire is a solitaire card game in which the objective is to move all cards from the tableau (hand) to the foundations (table) by suit in ascending numerical order. In other words, to build a sequence of cards from the foundations (table) to the tableau (hand).

The game can be played with two or four suits (the four suits are usually represented by the colors red, black, blue, and green). Each suit consists of one or more rows (also called columns) of cards. The game can be played in one or three modes:

Classic (also called Klondike or the standard version) 

Spiderette 

Classic plus Spiderette 

The game starts with a standard tableau (hand) of 52 cards, and it is possible to move cards from the tableau (hand) to the foundations (table) by suit in ascending numerical order.

The game is won when all cards are moved to the foundations (table) or the tableau (hand).

The game is designed to be easy to learn but to provide a challenge for players.
