Speed Checker, as the name implies, is a standalone app, available for free, that checks the user's Internet speed. It works on a wide variety of ISPs, and can connect the user to server locations in different countries across the world. It is extremely easy to use, and works fairly well. On occasion, the app will fail to display upload speeds properly, making them lower than they are; this often occurs on servers far from the user's location.
