Spades is a classic card game, but with an interesting twist. In Spades, you play as a team and the goal is to win the bid. 

The game begins with a round of bidding. Each player makes a prediction about the number of tricks they will win. The combined bids of two players make a contract. If the player wins at least the amount of tricks required by their contract, they fulfill their contract and the other partner must pay a penalty. The amount of the penalty is equal to the value of the contract. The player who wins more than the number of tricks bid, pays the entire amount of the overtrick.
