SPace is a control utility software that allows users to configure GNSS receivers from a smartphone or tablet. This application manages the connection of the GNSS receiver to correction services using the wireless resources of the mobile device. The combination of GNSS receivers with Android devices provides a location with much higher accuracy than the one provided by the internal GPS of the device. This location with higher accuracy can be obtained by third-party applications through the Android mock location framework option. With SPace, GIS users can use their preferred GIS application and run it on their preferred Android mobile device, benefiting from the best of Trimble GNSS technology.
