Somnus Corporation is a premium adventure PC game from developer Remy Makes. It’s a first-person psychological horror experience featuring retro VHS-like visuals and takes place in a dream simulation. In it, players will navigate multiple rooms, attempting to identify strange anomalies while dealing with the blurring line between reality and fiction. A demo is also available to newcomers. 

Dark and disturbing dream dive 

In the game, you play as John, a dream specialist participating in an experimental consciousness test created by the titular Somnus Corporation. Navigate 22 distinct rooms and identify more than 35 anomalies of various types, including physical, aural, and spatial ones. Report them using the CRT Somnus Terminal, but sending three wrong reports will reset you back to Room One, so decide wisely. 

Inspect rooms carefully, and memorize layouts to identify anything out of the ordinary. As you progress, things become stranger and more disturbing, making you question reality and your sanity. Now, as intriguing and curious as this game is, the experience is sadly rather short-lived, and you can expect to finish a playthrough anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes.
